PRODUCT OVERVIEW - MOBILE ACCESS TO LOTUS NOTES CALENDAR
.
Introduction
This software module gives a Notes user who is out of the office telephone access (doesn't need WAP) to the contents of their Calendar and any other Notes database. Any telephone may be used to call into the system.

Features
The system does the following:

Step 1 - Authentication
The caller dials into the system and enters their extension number (or mailbox number if already unified messaging user). The caller is then prompted to enter their password.

Step 2 - Calendar Entry Look-up
The caller is prompted to enter the date they want to look-up. Dates in different formats are accepted: MMDD or DDMM (international), MMDDYY or DDMMYY (international), MMDDYYYY or DDMMYYYY (international).

Step 3 - Information Delivery
All Calendar entries found at the specified date are given back to the caller as:
  • Starting Time
  • Ending Time
  • Subject
System Enhancements
Custom enhancements that vary the standard application accessing the Calendar are quick and easy to implement. Telephone access can also be provided to any other Notes database (e.g. corporate directories, contact databases, etc.). The module uses the PhoneSoft scripting tool and is open for your development at no extra cost. We can also do this integration work on your behalf.
